The Animal Pad is a non profit, all breed dog rescue based in San Diego, California. Our ultimate goal is to build, operate and maintain a no-kill animal sanctuary.  This would be the model to expand into other cities, and help others who would like to create similar sanctuaries. Our current focus is rescuing dogs from high kill shelters in Southern California.  We get them the vet care they need, find foster homes, rehab and facilitate adoptions into loving homes.
